The same issue appeared again at UNIVIE in a Mac OS 10.14. Kypass companion 1 9. The user solved it by installing Python from the conda-forge channel. The problem needs to be solved, as soon as we can get Apple hardware, reproduce it locally and test appropriate solutions.

  1. Signals are a limited form of inter-process communication (IPC), typically used in Unix, Unix-like, and other POSIX-compliant operating systems.A signal is an asynchronous notification sent to a process or to a specific thread within the same process to notify it of an event.

Any ideas what I need to do to resolve this?

Seg Fault Mac Os X

Hi,

Seg Fault Mac Os Catalina

Seg Fault Mac Os Download

Fault
I am trying OpenMP for the first time. The platform is Mac OS X 10.5 and gfortran from gcc (4.2.3 and 4.3.3 gave the same error). The program is a fairly complex physics simulation (From now on called 'The Beast') all in f77 type of code and runs fine as compiled with gfortran. Whereas a simple example program with an openmp do loop seems to run fine, whenever I add the option -fopenmp, 'The Beast' crashes with a segmentation fault. Whether I leave the source code untouched or add a simple do loop, does not make any obvious difference. After reading this and that result from google, it might be a problem with the large number of arrays and the amount of memory, even if they are not used within the parallel part. Any hints are appreciated
